What I like about Sarku is that their food is well seasoned, and the food is always ready when you pick up, and the customer service is magnificent. What I don't like about Sarku is that when they're rushing orders, the food doesn't be right. My son has food allergies to shell fish. I asked for chicken, and they gave me chicken and shrimp . Thank God he paid attention because my son would have been rush to the emergency room for a mistake that Sarku made. My next order should be free.
Usually go to Sarku in Elizabeth. Live 5 min away. Today my son ordered fr door dash. Delivery came from Newark.Surprised. Food was outstanding. Chicken teriyaki combos w veggies and fr rice.chicken cooked perfectly, rice perfect,not stuck together, big portion,great price. Can’t go wrong.
Excellent service, especially with the 8 Teriyaki deal on Tuesdays! It was so worth it for the generous portions they give. The staff was so kind and communicated with us very well. The store was clean with lots of seating. I was happy my mobile order was ready quickly because I walked a bit to get there! My friend and I ordered Chicken and Shrimp Teriyaki and we loved it!! Since it was my first time, I got 5 off my whole order and the total was highly cost efficient I 100% recommend coming here :)
Today I went to eat at Skrku, and as soon as I walked in, I was greeted and helped right away. The two ladies at the front were so nice—hands down the best! I got my food fast, and the place was super clean.
I Dont Know What All the Fuss Is About in the Reviews... I Believe They Give a Proper Portion of Meat w the Rice... And Ya,, the Taste is a Bit Mild... But That Cup of Teriyaki Sauce They Provide is There for a Reason... Thats What Completes the Meal... The Lady at the Counter Treated Me Well... The Chicken and Shrimp Combo Ran Me 12 Bucks...
Sarku Japan Teriyaki & Sushi is on Uber Eats and I am very happy . They have buy one get one free options and the portions are quite generous. I tried them because I wanted something different and they didn't disappoint. I can't speak on parking or the restaurant's atmosphere because I haven't dined in yet. But I can wholeheartedly vouch for the food . I'm going to update this review once I have dined there a few times. But until then, if you find them on Uber Eats give them a try. Your taste buds will thank you.
